John was highly motivated to be a perfectionist at what ever he undertook...from a logging Engineer to over seeing logging operations to designing / building his own house. He throughly enjoyed his work and his family time; always displayed great dedication to both. I always enjoyed catching up with John and Ida when they would past thru Calgary on their country / world wide visiting tours. "
